The Story
I started Boston Rank because I kept seeing the same thing over and over: skilled tradespeople and service business owners doing excellent work in this city — losing customers to competitors with worse services but a better online presence. That felt genuinely wrong.
A Boston electrician with 20 years of experience and an impeccable reputation shouldn't be losing jobs to a less-qualified competitor simply because that competitor has a faster website and shows up higher on Google Maps. But that's the reality of how customers find services today — and ignoring it is expensive.

My background is in web design, front-end development, and search strategy. Over time, I narrowed my focus exclusively to local service businesses in Boston and Greater Massachusetts — because depth beats breadth. Understanding the specific search patterns, seasonal demand cycles, and trust dynamics of Boston's HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and contracting markets means the strategies I build are more effective than generic agency approaches.
